Agile Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:
    • Foster a collaborative and agile team environment.
    • Set clear project goals and objectives in alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Motivate and guide team members to ensure optimal performance.
    • Oversee day-to-day project operations, identifying and addressing challenges proactively.
    • Provide coaching and mentorship to enhance the team’s Agile capabilities.
    • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Agile Project Management:
    • Utilize Agile methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor project progress.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Implement and improve Agile processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a transparent and timely manner.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features and manage project scope.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and release schedules.
    • Provide regular status reports and performance metrics to track project progress.


Qualification – Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
  • In-depth understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools and software.


Minimum Required Education and Experience

  • 3+ Experience in the role (highly desirable)
  • Life science or Engineering education
  • Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and legislative standards applicable to the development of medical devices is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 93/42/CEE (MDD) is a plus.


Physical Requirements

  • Expected travel is 30%
