Technical Lead for Operations
Purpose:
Technical Lead for Operations of Cosmo Intelligent Medical Devices.
Work Location: Rome – Italy – Viale Ostiense 131/L
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Serve as the main technical lead for all operational activities, providing advanced support and expertise to ensure optimal performance of the GI Genius system.
- Support and Collaboration: Work closely with Clinical Application Specialists and production teams, offering technical guidance and collaborating with the R&D team to support ongoing product improvements.
- System Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and updates of hardware and software components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Equipment Management: Manage the installation and maintenance of medical electrical equipment within the patient range, ensuring safety and compliance with medical standards.
- Production Support: Provide technical support for production operations, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes and high-quality output.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including maintenance manuals and user instructions.
- Training: Assist in the development and delivery of technical training programs for the Clinical Application Specialists and production teams, enhancing their technical proficiency.
- Problem Solving: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
- Communication: Effectively communicate technical information to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of product capabilities and support procedures.
Qualification – Skills, and Abilities
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role within the medical devices or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on hardware edge/embedded devices, operating systems, and medical electrical equipment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of hardware edge/embedded devices.
- Proficiency with operating systems, particularly Linux.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in managing medical electrical equipment and their installation within the patient range.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Cybersecurity.
