With a background in computer science, Nhan Ngo Dinh began his career in 2000, spearheading initiatives for designing, developing, and delivering healthcare technology products and services. His work spans several medical specialties, including radiology, neurology, gastroenterology, and medical photography, and includes medical devices enhanced with artificial intelligence. As the President of Cosmo IMD, Nhan leverages his experience and leadership to drive the business unit to transform the market by integrating intelligence into medical devices.

Andrea Cherubini is the SVP of Science, AI, and Data at Cosmo IMD. He graduated from La Sapienza University with a degree in Physics and later earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Magna Graecia University. He began his career in the Neuroimaging Laboratory of Fondazione Santa Lucia, where he gained valuable experience in Medical Imaging. He later joined the Italian National Research Council (CNR) as a Tenured Researcher and served as a Lecturer in Physics at Magna Graecia University. With over 25 years of experience in both academia and MedTech, Cherubini is a leading expert in Medical Imaging and Computer Aided Diagnosis. Currently, he leads the development of AI solutions for medical devices manufactured by the Cosmo Pharmaceuticals Group.

Giulio Evangelisti is the SVP of Manufacturing, Service and Security at Cosmo IMD. He graduated in Mathematics from La Sapienza University and in 1997 began his career providing support for data management and security. Since 2002, he has been leading product manufacturing and servicing in medical fields such as radiology, neurology, gastroenterology and medical photography with services, state-of-the-art technology, and systems. He has experience in managing products for both EU and US markets to deliver the latest medical devices developed by the company for hospitals, Pharma, and Biotech companies.

Luigi Longo began his career as an analytical laboratory scientist in Cosmo S.p.A. in June 2005. He continued his career in the R&D laboratory department and was appointed Scientific Project Manager in 2014. In this role, he collaborated with the CSO of Cosmo in the management of numerous R&D projects and contributed to the successful completion of various R&D development programs. Mr. Longo has a degree in chemistry and pharmaceutical technology from “La Sapienza” University in Rome.

Pietro Salvagnini is the Senior Manager AI, and Data at Cosmo IMD. He is supervises the Machine Learning development pipeline, from data curation and labeling to model design and implementation. He holds a PhD in Pattern Analysis and Computer Vision and has broad experience in developing software solutions for real-time AI.

Francesco de Angelis is a Biomedical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in various areas of the biomedical industry, such as pneumology, radiology, nuclear medicine, ophthalmology, and gastroenterology. He started his career as a mechanical designer and subsequently held more senior roles leading NPD (New product Development) and LCM (Lifecycle Management) programs portfolios. He owns a Master's Degree in Project Management and currently oversees the operations of the engineering department and strategic planning of R&D projects. His mission is to spearhead the development of cutting-edge solutions that make a real difference in people's lives through technology.

With a background in economics and a specialization in technology, certification, and quality, Paola Perna began her career with a focus on technical documentation assessment and audit management for certification bodies. In 2016, she joined AI division of Cosmo where she is now leading Quality Assurance to oversee compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 13485, and MDSAP among others.

With a background in materials physics, he began his career in quality and regulatory affairs operations for a medical device manufacturer in the field of endoscopy. He continued to expand his experience in a consulting firm where he focused on medical device certifications and registrations. With his growing expertise, he advanced to become the quality and regulatory affairs manager for medical device manufacturers, starting with ophthalmology and later transitioning to spirometry and oximetry. In 2022, he joined AI division of Cosmo as the leader of all operations related to medical device certifications and registrations.
